NOTES FROM KEVIN AND ERIN
Dear Youth and Church Family,
It is March already! What an exciting time to be alive and serving our Father's people. We have been involved in some very exciting projects these past few months and have even MORE exciting things in the months to come!!!! We believe that God has awesome plans for the lives of each and every one of our young people. As we are now in a season of Lent and the days are leading up to Easter, we are trying to focus on being like Christ:
In your lives you must think and act like Christ Jesus. Christ Himself was like God in everything. But He did not think that being equal with God was something to be used for His own benefit. But He gave up His place with God and made Himself nothing. He was born as a man and became like a servant. And when He was living as a man, He humbled Himself and was fully obedient to God, even when that caused His death--death on a cross. So God raised Him to the highest place. God made His name greater than every other name so that every knee will bow to the name of Jesus--everyone in heaven, on earth, and under the earth. And everyone will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and bring glory to God the Father. Philippians 2:5-11
Would you please consider joining us in praying this for our young people? We want every youth to not only come to know the Lord, but to become His disciple and have the same mind and heart as Christ did in the scriptures above. We have many youth that come and join us for our Wednesday Night evangelism outreach. But this is not only about numbers it is about God bringing light, life, and grace into their hearts, minds, families, schools, and communities.
Thank you so much for your continued love, prayers, and support! May the grace and blessings of our Father always be upon you, and may His smile always be yours.

Welcome to Pine Forest United Methodist Church's Youth page. Pine Forest is dedicated to helping the youth of our area establish a solid foundation in Christ, and helping build upon that foundation for years to come. We are eager to get to know you and share the good news of our Lord, Jesus Christ, with you! Come join us and become part of our growing group of youth leaders with hearts for Christ.
We are eagerly entering into a new program this month with our Youth. This July and August we starting a discipleship program to help further our Youth in their walk with Christ. We have high hopes for this program and are working diligently to get it started on Wednesday, July 22. It will be a 4 week program that help guide our Youth to daily seek the Lord. With each youth being paired with an adult, they will have the opportunity to ask the questions that they want to ask and direct the study on a more personal level. We will also continue our Sunday evening routine, which focuses on fellowship through games and trips (a lot of swimming!) and ends with a devotion and Bible lesson.
As you can see, we are committed to pushing our Youth here at Pine Forest United Methodist Church to seek new levels in their walk with Christ. We are greatly looking forward to the events, activities, and time that we get to spend with these amazing kids!
